Firestop special inspectors, installers, and specifiers are called upon to read, apply and interpret firestop through-penetration listings.
It’s important to ensure that installed firestopping meets code requirements and that the installation will perform as required to prevent fire spread.
This course will help you understand how to effectively read and use listed firestop systems with:
- Key terminology to understand
- Information that goes into them with details not to miss
- How to relate the information in the listing to your field application
- How each system is different
- Where the critical details can be found
