The International Firestop Council would like to congratulate all those who have diligently prepared for and successfully completed the “IFC Recommended Training and Education for Third-Party Firestop Inspectors” program.

Accredited Firestop Special Inspectors

Certificate holders have successfully completed the challenging and comprehensive curriculum of the “IFC Recommended Training and Education for Third-Party Firestop Inspectors” program and examination, as recognized by ASTM E3038, “Assessing and Qualifying Candidates as Inspectors of Firestop Systems and Fire-Resistive Joint Systems,”. This IFC certificate qualifies the individual as possessing the required “Minimum Qualifications for Special Inspectors” (Table 1) for firestop special inspection in International Accreditation Service (IAS) standard AC291. In addition to having earned the IFC special inspector certificate through study and examination, individuals listed below that have the Intertek logo are additionally accredited as Firestop Special Inspectors in the “Intertek Qualified Personnel” program.
