After working 29 years as a Firefighter / Engineer and transitioning to a Fire Inspector, I’ve worked 10 years as Special Inspector primarily looking at Wood Framing but also engaged in many other commercial and residential assemblies. While establishing residency at many locations (listed on Linkedin), I’ve developed several Wood Framing Special Inspection Classes that I’ve given to apprentices, journeymen and new hires within CEL and within our Local 3 Apprenticeship. I’ve attended many CEL pre-construction meetings as part of an establishment of valued working relationships with City and County Building Inspectors in the region. I’ve also served on ICC Code Change and Special Inspector Exam Development Committees during my tenure as a Special Inspector. I look forward to using my experience and knowledge while inspecting firestopping assemblies.
