International Firestop Council (IFC)
The International Firestop Council (IFC) is a nonprofit association of manufacturers, distributors, installers, inspectors and other key stakeholders interested in passive fire protection materials and systems in North America and abroad. With over thirty years members’ experience, a constant stream of innovation and over ten thousand tested systems, we are THE source of firestop expertise.
Our Mission
To promote the technology of fire and smoke containment in building construction through research, education, development of safety standards, testing, and code provision.
